Find and search stores
The Stores workspace is where most pilot work happens: search, scan a list, open profiles, and build a shortlist.
Before you search
Section titled “Before you search”- You only see stores your customer workspace is entitled to.
- Search does not unlock the whole country — entitlement and product configuration set the boundary.
- If Stores is missing from navigation, your role or feature flags may not include it. Ask a workspace admin.
Search basics
Section titled “Search basics”- Open Stores.
- Use the search box for names, chains, places, or postcode-style queries your team uses.
- Results update the list (and map, when shown).
- Open a row to see the store profile or drawer.
Tips:
- Start broad, then narrow with filters.
- Prefer the chain and place names your field team actually uses.
- If a store “should” exist but does not appear, check entitlement and filters before assuming a data gap — see troubleshooting.
Reading the list
Section titled “Reading the list”Typical columns (labels may vary):
- Store identity (name, chain/fascia)
- Location summary
- Priority or rank signals (for attention order — not a legal outcome)
- Workflow state (assigned, listed, visited) when enabled
Good habits
Section titled “Good habits”- Search with a purpose (“Sheffield independents near…”) rather than endless scrolling.
- Open a few profiles to calibrate what “good evidence” looks like in your workspace.
- Keep personal notes in the fields your process defines — not in ad-hoc side channels when the product supports assignment and lists.
